What is a homeowner portal?

The website where an owner sees their own account: the balance, autopay, statements, the community's documents, notices about their home, requests to the office, and votes.

Also called owner portal, resident portal.

In Havn

Every owner gets Havn's portal with the roster as the invitation, sent by email, text, and mailed letter, and one sign-in per person.

Homeowner portal

A portal replaces the phone call and the paper statement for most of what an owner needs. The measure of a good one is how much an owner can finish there without calling: pay, set autopay, read the notice and reply to it, find the budget, send a request and see the answer, vote.

Portals differ most in sign-in and in co-owners. One login per person, with each co-owner on their own email, keeps the record straight when a home has two owners or an owner has two homes.
